Listen to the foliage and the whisper of the trees. Lingering in the shadows and looking for hidden gems amongst the swaying branches…. Come and explore with me…. The woods, forest and trees all around us. The mystery of the dense brush. The shapes, colors and intrigue amongst the leaves, tree trunks, grass and the sky above… all calling for me to come and explore.

Great sunset painting session with wonderful company and chocolate!! Back to my studio for some extra touches, but a great night !!

I enjoy painting the Alberta landscape, gardens and old farms. I often start a painting on site and then complete it in my studio at home. When I can't get outside to paint I use photographs. The places I paint are places I would like to sit and have a cup of tea and relax. My paintings connect me with nature and when I am painting I am in that moment.
